Welcome to the Yale Children's Diabetes Program
Welcome to the website of the Yale Children's Diabetes Program. We are excited to provide information about type 1 diabetes (T1D) and our practice to patients, their families and others who care about people with T1D.
The Yale Children's Diabetes Program provides comprehensive diabetes care and education with a special emphasis on the use of technology-based tools as well as clinically relevant research. We provide care to children of all ages, whether they are newly diagnosed with diabetes or have had the condition for years.
We currently have nearly 900 patients in our T1D program, most live locally in Connecticut while others travel from surrounding states. Our world-renowned diabetes team includes physician researchers, advanced practice nurses/CDEs, physician assistants, a social worker and psychologist, nutritionists, research assistants, post-doctoral fellows and administrative assistants. You can get to know us a little better in the About Us section.
